Group Lead- Materials- 2nd Shift

Location: Onsite in Spartanburg, South Carolina, United States; full-time, 2nd shift.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate the materials support team to achieve daily and weekly material KPIs.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, provide real-time feedback, and maintain productivity and quality.
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, safety rules, housekeeping, and 5S standards.
• Train and mentor employees on equipment operation, processes, and safety practices.
• Manage inbound and outbound trailer dock processes and provide line-area support for the assigned district.
• Maintain material records, identify workflow improvements, and complete end-of-shift audits for the next shift.

Requirements

• At least five years of applicable experience, including 6 months to 1 year in a Materials Group role.
• Ability to lead projects and project teams in a fast-changing environment.
• Solid computer, math, reading, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds, and perform prolonged standing, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and climbing.
• Ability to work around temperature extremes, dust, fumes, loud noise, wet conditions, airborne particles, and occasional toxic or caustic chemicals.
