2nd Shift Warehouse Lead

Location: Hutchins, TX, US — onsite at 1002 E Cleveland Rd. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–10:30 PM, second shift.

What you will do

• Coordinate the timely and accurate movement of materials into, within, and out of the warehouse.
• Supervise day-to-day warehouse activities and provide backup to the Distribution Supervisor.
• Train and onboard temporary employees, ensuring procedures and quality requirements are followed.
• Support warehouse operations by operating equipment and filling in on the line when needed to maintain workflow.
• Promote safety programs, investigate incidents, and report root-cause findings to leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement through employee involvement, problem solving, and decision making.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience as a lead in a logistics facility; three to five years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift certification required; certification can be completed onsite within 30 days.
• Experience with RF scanners and related software.
• Computer proficiency with Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, JD Edwards, and the Internet.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, warehouse safety practices, and equipment including forklifts, shrink wrappers, banders, battery chargers, and dock levers.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, adaptability, and pressure-management skills.
