Location: Denver, Colorado, United States; candidates must reside in the Denver metropolitan area or be willing to relocate. Employees cannot currently reside in Alaska, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, or Puerto Rico.
Salary: $75,000–$90,000 annually, based on skills and experience.

What you will do
- Design power distribution, lighting, and other electrical systems for commercial, multifamily residential, industrial, institutional, and government facilities.
- Perform electrical calculations, evaluate existing systems, and conduct field investigations and site visits.
- Prepare construction drawings, one-line diagrams, electrical details, schedules, specifications, and cost estimates using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Assist with technical reports, engineering studies, facility assessments, code reviews, and repair or improvement recommendations.
- Coordinate designs with architects, engineering disciplines, utilities, clients, contractors, and project teams.
- Support construction administration by reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and performing site observations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Experience using Revit or AutoCAD and relevant coursework, internship, co-op, or project experience in building electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, industrial power systems, or electrical system design.
- Must reside in the Denver metropolitan area or be willing to relocate to the United States.
- Ability to obtain Engineer-in-Training certification within one year of hire; occasional travel is required for meetings and site visits.
- Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
Nice to have
- 1–2 years of experience with an MEP consulting engineering firm.
- Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam or existing Engineer-in-Training certification.
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code, NFPA standards, and applicable building and energy codes.
