Sr. Manager - Project Engineering

Location: Chicago, IL — Chicago/Aon Center

Salary: $120,800–$151,000 base salary annually, plus performance-based bonus

What you will do

• Lead projects to completion on time, within budget, and against defined objectives.
• Manage technical studies, product and equipment design, specifications, technical plans, and product testing.
• Coordinate technical development, scheduling, engineering design resolution, and testing activities.
• Control project expenditures and prepare interim and completion reports.
• Provide functional and technical support to factories to reduce production and maintenance problems.
• Serve as a technical advisor or project manager for PRC and key support projects while applying TQM principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited engineering school or a related field.
• 5–7 years of full-cycle project management experience.
• Strong background in mechanical and hydraulic systems, packaging methods and materials, electronics, computer applications, and electrical systems.
• Demonstrated ability to direct, lead, and manage cross-functional teams on large capital projects or programs valued at $20 million or more.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including days, afternoons, midnights, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to travel 75%.
