Civil Project Manager / Client Manager

Location: Greater Phoenix, Arizona or greater Scottsdale, Arizona, or surrounding areas; travel for client meetings as needed. Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Base compensation: $120,000–$140,000 per year, based on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Plan, develop, coordinate, and direct multiple civil engineering projects across various sectors and regions.
• Develop client relationships, identify market opportunities, prepare proposals, and win new work.
• Prepare project approaches, scopes, and fees; present proposals and interview for projects.
• Recruit, manage, mentor, and collaborate with engineering staff while building effective project teams.
• Maintain project schedules, coordinate delivery, and determine major design decisions with clients.
• Represent hirify.global with local governments, municipalities, professional associations, and industry events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Arizona.
• Experience with civil engineering design, construction, and project management.
• Client management experience with a demonstrated ability to develop business and win project proposals.
• Must be located in the greater Phoenix or Scottsdale areas, or surrounding areas, and be able to travel for client meetings.
• Must already have U.S. work authorization without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• At least 10 years of professional experience.
• Experience with industrial and commercial development.
• Experience managing engineering professionals and mentoring junior staff.
• Membership in local, state, or national civil engineering societies and associations.
