Senior Civil Project Manager

Location: Tampa, Florida, USA

Salary: Starting at $125,000 per year, depending on experience and expertise.

What you will do

• Manage residential and commercial land development projects, including contracts, budgets, design, workload, and permitting.
• Oversee construction projects and coordinate with construction inspectors.
• Develop conceptual, preliminary, and final construction design drawings.
• Prepare construction plans, detail drawings, project specifications, permitting submittals, and engineering cost opinions.
• Review construction plans and perform roadway alignment, quantity, hydrology, and hydraulic calculations.
• Research and coordinate utilities, including utility design and stormwater management work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Approximately 10 or more years of relevant experience.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license in Florida, or the ability to obtain or transfer the license within one year of starting.
• Experience with contract administration, permitting, earthwork, site grading, utilities, stormwater management, roadway design, hydrology and hydraulics, and utility design.
• Familiarity with development and design processes specific to local geographic markets.
• Experience with AutoCAD and hydrology/hydraulics software such as StormCAD, WaterCAD, ICPR, or similar packages.
