Maintenance Mechanic- 2nd Shift

Location: Onsite in Charleroi, Pennsylvania, United States. Full-time second shift, Tuesday through Friday, 4:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.; first-shift work may be required for training or as needed. Must be available for occasional Monday overtime.

Pay: $30.32 per hour, plus a $0.50 shift differential.

What you will do

• Maintain and repair production equipment, material handling equipment, building systems, and structures.
• Manufacture and repair spare parts and components for proprietary high-speed paper converting machines.
• Troubleshoot industrial electrical, PLC, robotic control, mechanical, and building maintenance issues.
• Plan repair procedures, select materials, requisition spare parts, and perform inspections before, during, and after machining.
• Fabricate parts from sketches, blueprints, or worn components while maintaining required tolerances.
• Support maintenance and production operations while completing assignments safely and on time.

Requirements

• GED or equivalent diploma.
• Secondary diploma or certificate in industrial electrical, PLC, or robotic controls.
• Knowledge of industrial equipment maintenance, repair methods, materials, hazards, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams and use shop mathematics, including fractions and decimals.
• Experience with conventional machine tools, MIG, TIG, and ARC welding equipment, and precision measuring tools.
• Must provide a rollaway toolbox and good-quality personal tools; some tools are provided by hirify.global.
