Maintenance Mechanic (Industrial Machinery)

Location: Hebron, Ohio, USA; onsite, 1st shift

Compensation: USD 27–27.31 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain production equipment and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures involving electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Repair and maintain die cutters, web and sheet-fed presses, inserting machines, folders, conveyors, and bindery equipment.
• Use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and testing equipment.
• Repair or reproduce replacement parts using welders, lathes, milling machines, drill presses, surface grinders, and other machine-shop equipment.

Requirements

• Strong ability to install, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, align, test, and maintain complex machinery.
• Advanced knowledge of machine controls and methods for distinguishing mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic failures.
• Ability to perform precise alignment, parallelism, concentricity, pressure, and flow measurements.
• Ability to interpret multiview drawings, wiring diagrams, operating manuals, manufacturer specifications, and other technical materials.
• Knowledge of construction, assembly, geometry, shop mathematics, and handbook formulas for calculating angles, clearances, fits, pressure, and flow.
• Ability to work onsite in Hebron, Ohio, USA, on the 1st shift.
