Pharmacy Customer Associate (Specialty Pharmacy)

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. The role is primarily virtual full-time, but requires five weeks of onsite training and candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the posting location.

Salary: $16.89–$25.33 per hour.

What you will do

• Respond to basic customer questions about retail and mail-order prescriptions by telephone and written correspondence.
• Build positive customer relationships and coordinate with internal company functions to resolve requests promptly.
• Support subscribers, providers, benefit administrators, physician offices, third-party representatives, and other Blue Cross Plans.
• Research customer issues and provide proactive, thorough solutions with clear follow-through.
• Guide customers in using available technology, tools, and pharmacy resources.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in an automated customer service environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Problem-solving, facilitation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to complete five weeks of onsite training in Las Vegas and remain within reasonable commuting distance.

Nice to have

• Specialty pharmacy experience.
• Call center experience.
