Continuous Improvement and Value Stream Operations Manager (Automated Fulfilment)

Location: Flexible across automated fulfilment sites in the Netherlands, including Utrecht, Dordrecht, Ridderkerk, Berkel en Rodenrijs, Eindhoven, Zwolle, Heerenveen, and Geldermalsen

What you will do

• Own the long-term performance and KPI roadmap for a value stream, defining strategy and structural improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Lead daily value stream operations across shifts and coach supervisors who manage captain teams.
• Analyze workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements that increase efficiency, flow, and reliability.
• Lead daily Kaizen initiatives and embed continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence.
• Maintain safe, clean, organized operations through 5S and consistent operational standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, planning, analysts, and last-mile teams to ensure seamless end-to-end fulfilment.

Requirements

• University degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience, preferably in warehouse or automated operations.
• Hands-on experience in automated or semi-automated fulfilment environments and complex high-volume, high-SKU workflows.
• Experience with Lean and continuous improvement, plus the ability to lead teams of leaders and deliver results.
• Strong analytical skills and competence with data analysis tools such as Tableau and Excel.
• Fluency in English and Dutch is required; location flexibility across the Netherlands is expected.
