Resident Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Natchitoches, Louisiana, USA, at the Alliance plant

What you will do

• Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams to complete engineering and manufacturing projects.
• Serve as the link between plant operations and product engineering.
• Support production, manufacturing, in-plant quality, and engineering activities.
• Troubleshoot operational and engineering problems.
• Lead quality and cost improvement projects.
• Analyze and present data as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Visa sponsorship is not provided; applicants requiring current or future sponsorship are not eligible.

Nice to have

• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing facility.
• Experience with high-volume rotating equipment.
• Experience with Minitab or other statistical software.
• Knowledge of DMAIC problem-solving methodology.
• Lean or Six Sigma knowledge.
