Senior Field Service Technician (Hydraulics and Electrical)

Location: Remote, based in Connecticut, United States; field-based role requiring daily or weekly travel within assigned territories, up to 80% travel and up to 20% overnight travel.

Pay range: $73,200–$117,800 per year across U.S. locations.

Designs and manufactures specialty trucks and access equipment used by military, emergency services, construction, and community infrastructure customers.

What you will do

• Support the S-Series front-discharge mixer product and other products within the area of expertise.
• Diagnose and repair equipment at customer sites, resolving issues in a proper and timely manner.
• Monitor product readiness and assist dealer service technicians on-site, by phone, or by email.
• Provide product orientation, in-service operations, and maintenance training at customer locations.
• Follow up on repairs, troubleshoot customer concerns, and develop effective resolutions.
• Lead and mentor other Field Service Technicians as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and five or more years of relevant experience in machine assembly, light fabrication, or relevant contracting experience; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• Strong mechanical and technical skills, with demonstrated customer relationship and communication abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to possess a DOT card.
• Must be able to travel up to 80%, including overnight travel up to 20%, within assigned U.S. territories.
• Must be insurable by the employer to operate a company vehicle.
• Ability to work in field and production environments, including exposure to noise, dust, machinery, temperature changes, lifting up to 50 pounds, and extended standing or climbing.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in Diesel Equipment Technology or a related field.
• Commercial Driver’s License.
• Experience troubleshooting hydraulic and electrical systems.
