Consulting Manager (Workday HCM)

Location: Remote - US

Salary: $150,000–$190,000 USD annually, based on qualifications and experience.

What you will do

• Lead complex Workday HCM implementations and optimization projects across Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, and Business Process Framework.
• Partner with senior client executives to define solution roadmaps and align delivery with strategic business objectives.
• Oversee project governance, scope, timelines, budgets, resource planning, risk mitigation, and escalations.
• Provide executive oversight of solution design and architecture, ensuring scalable, compliant, best-practice configurations.
• Guide clients through system performance, data integrity, cross-functional dependencies, change management, and system adoption.
• Coach and develop consultants while contributing to account growth, pre-sales strategy, proposals, and client presentations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in HCM technology or enterprise consulting, including 5+ years of hands-on Workday HCM experience.
• Proven success overseeing complex, multi-stage Workday HCM implementations across Core HCM, Compensation, and Business Process Framework.
• Experience guiding functional and technical workstreams across multiple implementations.
• Strong leadership, team development, cross-functional management, and delivery scaling skills.
• Excellent client engagement and executive communication skills, with experience building partnerships and driving account growth.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
