Business Performance Improvement - People & Change - Payroll - Senior Consultant

Location: Hybrid in Philadelphia or Charlotte, with in-person work in local hirify.global offices and on client sites; local or out-of-state travel may be required. hirify.global is not registered to hire or employ personnel in West Virginia or Alaska.

Salary: $98,000–$146,000 annually, plus a 10% bonus target. Estimated total cash range: $107,800–$160,600.

What you will do

• Support HR transformation and payroll modernization engagements for strategic clients.
• Develop HR operating model, payroll service delivery, and functional effectiveness strategies.
• Support the design, implementation, and optimization of HR and payroll technologies.
• Translate diagnostic insights into actionable transformation recommendations, business cases, briefing materials, and roadmaps.
• Build client relationships, contribute to business development, and support market networking.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to repeatable methodologies, tools, and practice assets.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in HR transformation, payroll consulting, human capital consulting, or progressive HR/payroll roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• Experience supporting HR operating model redesign, payroll process improvement, organizational design, workforce planning, and technology enablement.
• Experience with HR and payroll technologies such as Workday Payroll, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, ADP, Ceridian Dayforce, or UKG.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to work in the hybrid model, including in-person office or client-site work and potential travel.

Nice to have

• Professional services consulting firm experience.
• Experience with process mapping or analytics tools.
• SHRM-CP, PHR, PMP, CPP, or similar certification.
• Experience with skills-based workforce strategies, talent frameworks, recruiting, succession, learning and development, or leadership pipelines.
