Plant Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Mason, Ohio, United States; onsite at the Mason Factory

New hire base salary: $164,200–$205,200 per year, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

hirify.global produces food products and operates manufacturing facilities governed by company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

What you will do

• Coordinate and direct manufacturing operations across production, planning, quality assurance, sanitation, maintenance, purchasing, safety, shipping, receiving, and materials control.
• Lead department managers in labor planning, production scheduling, resource utilization, and operational execution.
• Develop operating budgets and ZBB plans, monitor spending and manufacturing variances, and support corporate financial goals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on labor, waste, packaging and ingredient costs, indirect costs, and overall plant efficiency.
• Partner with engineering, maintenance, and continuous improvement teams to reduce equipment downtime and optimize process flows, layouts, shutdowns, and startups.
• Work with Human Resources, R&D, and plant leadership on employee relations, development, new product processes, production runs, and costing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior plant management experience is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with and influence employees at all levels.
• Ability to ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, good manufacturing practices, and applicable regulations.
