Manager, Engineering and Maintenance (Site) (Manufacturing)

Location: Downers Grove, Illinois, United States; onsite plant leadership role

Salary: $120,300–$165,400 per year

What you will do

• Lead the site's engineering, maintenance, reliability, and capital project functions.
• Develop and execute multi-year capital investment and technical improvement strategies.
• Manage an annual capital budget of up to $20 million, including forecasting, cost control, risk management, and financial closeout.
• Lead projects from concept and design through installation, commissioning, qualification, and operational handoff.
• Establish Total Productive Maintenance, preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance practices.
• Lead reliability improvements, root-cause analysis, major shutdowns, technical capability development, and cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Eight or more years of progressive engineering, maintenance, reliability, or technical leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience working with mechanical, electrical, controls, utilities, and industrial manufacturing systems.
• Experience leading technical professionals and maintenance teams, managing contractors, and collaborating across operations, quality, safety, distribution, and finance.
• Ability to ensure engineering and maintenance work meets safety, environmental, food safety, quality, regulatory, schedule, and financial requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience leading capital projects and maintenance or reliability programs.
• TPM, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, or reliability-centered maintenance experience.
• Food, beverage, consumer packaged goods, or other regulated manufacturing experience.
• Lean Six Sigma, PMP, CMRP, SMRP, or equivalent certification.
• Experience managing capital portfolios of $10 million or more annually and working with automation, process controls, and computerized maintenance management systems.
