Consultant, Global AML Framework (AML)

What you will do

• Advise business partners and senior management on AML compliance programs, laws, regulations, rules, and standards.
• Communicate regulatory developments, emerging risks, and changes affecting business activities.
• Support AML and economic sanctions risk assessments.
• Design and execute quality control reviews of AML processes, risk assessments, and issue remediation.
• Manage financial crime compliance issues through identification, root cause analysis, action planning, tracking, and closure validation.
• Develop oversight committee reporting and engage with business partners, regulators, and internal and external auditors.

Requirements

• 5–7 or more years of experience, preferably in compliance or risk management, or equivalent related experience.
• In-depth knowledge of applicable laws and regulations gained through formal education and professional experience.
• Knowledge of risk management and strategic business goals.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for consulting, interpreting regulations, and summarizing information.
• Ability to operate independently and provide subject-matter expertise in regulatory compliance.
