Compliance Assurance Manager (Fintech)

Location: Must be based in Managua, Nicaragua or Mandaluyong City, Manila, Philippines; hybrid on-site attendance three days per week

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end compliance assurance testing engagements across one or more regulatory domains.
• Directly manage, coach, and develop analysts, including performance management and career development.
• Design and execute test plans assessing the design and operating effectiveness of controls.
• Identify, document, and validate control gaps and findings while partnering with process owners on remediation.
• Refine testing methodologies and templates and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, Legal, Risk, and Internal Audit.
• Present testing results and findings in internal review and compliance forums.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of experience in compliance assurance, internal audit, risk testing, or regulatory consulting within financial services or fintech.
• Direct experience managing and developing team members through feedback, coaching, and performance management.
• Working knowledge of AML/CTF, OFAC and sanctions, consumer protection, safeguarding, and transaction monitoring.
• Experience managing testing engagements from planning through reporting and communicating control gaps clearly.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple engagements independently.
