Location: Remote, Oregon, United States. Salary: $88,900–$116,655 per year, depending on experience, skills, background, and location.

What you will do
- Research, interpret, and apply U.S. GAAP to complex and non-routine transactions.
- Develop, document, and defend accounting conclusions, technical memoranda, policies, and procedures.
- Support accounting for purchase accounting, intangible assets, investments, hedging activities, goodwill, and other technical matters.
- Monitor new accounting standards, lead impact assessments, and coordinate implementation with stakeholders.
- Support monthly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, account analyses, and ERP accuracy.
- Partner with FP&A, Legal, Tax, Manufacturing Operations, auditors, and senior leadership to resolve accounting issues and improve processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience; minimum of 8 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, 6 years with a master’s degree, or 3 years with a PhD.
- Active CPA certification preferred.
- Progressive public accounting and/or technical accounting experience, including experience with complex transactions such as M&A, revenue recognition, or derivatives.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, technical accounting research, memo writing, and policy development.
- Experience in a public company or SEC reporting environment, with familiarity with ERP and financial reporting tools.
- Experience in a SOX-compliant environment and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
