Location: McKinney, Texas, with travel to the Frisco location once per week. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; no weekends, on-call shifts, or major holidays.

What you will do

  • Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and promote continuity of oncology patient care.
  • Assess patients’ health status, medical histories, and family needs.
  • Provide patient and family education, psychosocial support, and access to community resources.
  • Manage medication refill requests, triage patient calls, and document information in patient charts.
  • Schedule consultations, diagnostic tests, procedures, referrals, and follow-up appointments.
  • Coordinate communication with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams while supporting LPNs/LVNs and medical assistants.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited professional nursing education program; BSN preferred.
  • Current RN license and registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and commitment to continuing education.
  • At least three years of nursing experience for Level II; oncology experience is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work in an oncology/hematology clinic environment involving potential exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, and medical preparations.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, handle and lift patients, and occasionally lift items weighing up to 40 pounds.

Nice to have

  • Oncology certification.
  • At least five years of nursing experience, including one year in oncology, for the Senior level.
