What you will do

• Design, analyze, and test complex mechanical parts and assemblies for the Gaming product category.
• Optimize designs for mass production in partnership with manufacturing teams and suppliers.
• Ensure final designs meet quality, cost, reliability, and safety specifications.
• Resolve mechanical engineering challenges throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Lead the development and qualification of plastic tooling, including design debug.
• Collaborate with worldwide functions to ensure seamless product development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for high-volume consumer electronic products.
• Expertise in plastics, injection molding, assembly processes, and defect analysis.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and quality tools such as DFMEA, DFMA, PSS, and Tolerance Analysis.
• Fluent prototyping skills and a self-motivated, creative approach.
• Good command of English writing and speaking.
• Must be based in or able to work in Suzhou, China.

Nice to have

• Experience with CAE.
• Knowledge of metal punch tool structure and design.
