What you will do

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for automotive interior HMI devices, including mechatronic switch modules and tactile control assemblies.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, GD&T documentation, BOMs, and product revisions in PDM/PLM systems.
• Define critical dimensions and perform tolerance stack-up analyses.
• Participate in design reviews, risk analyses, DFMEA support, requirements traceability, and verification tracking.
• Drive DFM/DFA for high-volume production processes such as injection molding, stamping, machining, overmolding, ultrasonic welding, heat staking, laser marking, and adhesive assembly.
• Support prototype and pre-series builds, DV/PV activities, troubleshooting, and design improvements through engineering changes.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience designing and developing electromechanical products.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD; CATIA is preferred.
• Strong 2D drawing and GD&T skills, with knowledge of polymer part design, processing, and assembly.
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience with prototypes and production builds, plus knowledge of automotive product development standards and processes.
• Professional working proficiency in English for conversational and technical communication.
