What you will do

• Lead technical assessments and serve as the decision owner for complex cross-domain system issues under production pressure.
• Own high-impact production disturbances to minimize downtime and prevent recurrence through structured problem-solving.
• Perform system-level and structural analysis to identify root causes and systemic gaps.
• Drive the development, validation, and deployment of Best-Known Methods (BKM) across manufacturing lines.
• Provide technical coaching and guidance to peers on problem-solving methodologies and technical alignment.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources between Development, Engineering, and Production teams for escalation handling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering or related disciplines.
• 8+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment, electronics, or precision equipment industries.
• At least 5 years of experience as a 2nd-line Technical Support Engineer in the semiconductor equipment industry.
• Proven experience handling complex troubleshooting and production escalations in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to structure complex problems and drive technical decision-making under tight time constraints.
• Good English communication skills for technical discussions, reporting, and escalation meetings.

• Experience with specific semiconductor equipment platforms.
• Background in manufacturing engineering or system-level roles.
• Familiarity with structured RCA, change management, or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience leading technical projects or mentoring junior engineers.
