Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack JavaScript)

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid policy with 4 days onsite each week

Base salary: CAD 90,489–132,711 per year. Incentive target: 12.5% annually.

What you will do

• Develop full-stack web applications using Vue, Nuxt 3, TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS.
• Build and maintain server-side rendered, statically generated, and universal applications with attention to routing, hydration, caching, browser behavior, and performance.
• Create reusable front-end components and contribute to component libraries and design-system patterns.
• Build and maintain Node.js APIs, middleware, and integrations with headless CMS, analytics, personalization, and third-party platforms.
• Contribute to AI-enabled marketing workflows for content creation, migration, schema mapping, personalization, experimentation, and operational automation.
• Support production delivery through testing, debugging, monitoring, accessibility, SEO, security, privacy, Core Web Vitals improvements, code reviews, documentation, and technical planning.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience, preferably with full-stack JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Vue, Nuxt, React, Next.js, Angular, or similar.
• Understanding of server-side rendering, static generation, universal JavaScript applications, browser fundamentals, asynchronous programming, modular code, package management, and modern build tooling.
• Experience building or consuming RESTful APIs, Node.js services, middleware, or external-platform integrations.
• Experience deploying, debugging, or monitoring applications in AWS or a similar cloud environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with engineers, product managers, designers, content teams, and other cross-functional partners.

Nice to have

• Experience with headless content management systems such as Contentstack.
• Experience partnering with digital marketing teams on content personalization, analytics, or lead-generation workflows.
