Senior Full-Stack Engineer, Home and Explore (Fintech)

Location: Burnaby, BC, Canada; hybrid work with onsite attendance Tuesday through Thursday each week

Salary: CAD 152,000–190,000 per year base salary, plus equity and additional compensation components

What you will do

• Design, develop, launch, and support scalable, robust, and accessible frontend solutions end to end.
• Drive technical strategy and system architecture for global money-transfer experiences.
• Lead design and code reviews, establish UI engineering best practices, and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and analysts to solve complex product problems.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to cross-team frontend engineering initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a senior or lead frontend role.
• Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and component-based architecture.
• Experience building accessible, performant, and scalable interfaces for web or mobile platforms.
• Proficiency in frontend architecture, state management, API integration, testing strategies, CI/CD, and observability.
• Experience leading projects or large features with cross-functional partners.
