Salary: $152,000 – $190,000

What you will do

• Deliver scalable, robust, and accessible frontend solutions end-to-end, from design to long-term support.
• Drive technical strategy and system architecture for the Global transfer experience to ensure long-term maintainability.
• Lead design and code reviews while setting best practices for UI engineering and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering to solve challenging product problems.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and inclusion.
• Improve team processes and participate in cross-team initiatives to raise the frontend engineering bar.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years in a senior or lead frontend role building and maintaining production systems.
• Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and component-based architecture.
• Proficiency in frontend architecture, state management, API integration, testing strategies, and CI/CD.
• Must be based in or able to work from Burnaby, BC, Canada to meet the hybrid office requirements.
