Software Developer (C#/.NET)

Location: Oakville, Ontario, Canada; flexible hybrid model with support for virtual work and optional office attendance.

Salary: CAD 85,500–105,600 annual base salary.

What you will do

• Define, design, and implement software applications for a real-time telematics platform.
• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
• Write high-performance C# code and SQL queries to process and store vehicle data.
• Develop fast, responsive user interfaces with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Apply test-driven and security-driven development, conduct code reviews, and maintain coding standards.
• Analyze call stacks, trace files, debug logs, and performance data to identify and resolve bugs; contribute to prototypes, MVPs, and proofs of concept.

Requirements

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in a related field.
• Experience with Linux, C#, .NET, object-oriented design, unit testing, optimization, and multithreaded programming.
• Experience with JavaScript, CSS, and HTML; exposure to Python, TypeScript, ES6, .NET Core, Google Compute Engine, and Google BigQuery.
• Working knowledge of cloud computing with GCP, AWS, and/or Azure.
• Proof of eligibility to work in Canada and successful completion of a background check are required.
