Sr. Quality Manager - Business Compliance

Location: Hagerstown, Maryland, United States; full-time role combining office-based duties with work in field or production environments.

Pay range: $118,700–$211,300 per year across U.S. locations.

What you will do

• Lead the integration of reliability and robustness into New Product Development and drive warranty reduction through structured problem solving.
• Align quality processes with enterprise standards, regulatory requirements, and internal compliance frameworks.
• Provide governance, audit readiness, and continuous improvement leadership for the Quality Management System.
• Lead APQP activities during manufacturing launches and institutionalize PFMEA, Control Plans, and Reaction Plans.
• Coach and train manufacturing teams in APQP, quality tools, 8D, and Six Sigma problem-solving disciplines.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for complex quality issues and provide strategic guidance to manufacturing quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in operations management, engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of related work experience.
• Experience with Design for Reliability, Design for Robustness, or Design for Six Sigma.
• Experience deploying quality improvements within New Product Development processes.
• Strong analytical, project management, prioritization, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work across office, field, and production environments, including occasional standing, walking, moderate lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to noise or varying temperatures.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in reliability engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline.
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, preferably Master Black Belt.
• Experience managing large teams in a continuous improvement culture.
