Sr Quality Engineer

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve production process controls using SPC, capability studies, and Gage R&R.
• Lead root cause analysis, 8D, and 5 Why investigations, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports and Material Review Board activities, including containment, disposition, and trend analysis.
• Support APQP, PPAP, FMEA, control plans, design reviews, and product validation activities.
• Conduct manufacturing process audits and support internal and external ISO 9001 audits.
• Analyze and report quality metrics, support Quality Improvement Team initiatives, and lead cross-functional quality improvement projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing.
• Experience with root cause analysis, structured problem-solving, quality management tools, and data interpretation.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and independent working skills.
• Ability to work in an office and manufacturing environment, including standing, stooping, occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds, and travel of up to 10%.

Nice to have

• CQE, Six Sigma Green Belt, or Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Experience with SPC and advanced quality planning.
• Familiarity with industry-specific quality standards and regulations.
• Plant operations or issue resolution experience.
