Responsibilities:

- Partner day-to-day with product management and cross-functional engineering teams to plan and deliver technology projects.
- Develop and maintain project plans (scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation) and manage dependencies.
- Lead and manage project teams including engineers, QA, and other technical staff; facilitate PMO governance.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, planning) and leverage Agile/SAFe to increase throughput and transparency.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues; develop contingency plans and report status to stakeholders.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to stakeholder satisfaction.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 11-15 years total experience including 7+ years managing technology projects of increasing complexity.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices (Waterfall, Agile, SAFe).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira and Airtable; knowledge of software development lifecycles.
- Experience working with software engineering and quality assurance teams; ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Nice to have:

- Strong understanding of the Life Insurance and Annuity industry.
- Scrum, SAFe, PMP or other project management certifications.
