Hourly wage: $22.75–$24.55

What you will do

• Apply primer, pre-finish, and topcoat to treated metal parts and machinery.
• Prepare surfaces through cleaning, degreasing, mechanical scuffing, masking, and plugging according to prints and SOPs.
• Operate, maintain, and safely change over paint-line equipment, including booths, spray guns, pumps, regulators, and high-pressure washers.
• Mix and adjust coatings by specified ratios while monitoring viscosity, temperature, humidity, and pot life.
• Measure and document wet and dry film thickness, inspect visual quality, repair defects, and complete quality records.
• Follow EHS, Lockout/Tagout, and PPE procedures while performing physically demanding work, including work in confined spaces.

Requirements

• Entry-level painting experience; completion of a formal painting or coatings program is preferred.
• Ability to successfully complete the hirify.global Paint Training Program.
• Ability to learn and perform HVLP and/or electrostatic spray application and tune spray guns.
• Ability to troubleshoot defects such as runs, sags, and orange peel.
• Ability to use WFT and DFT gauges, apply visual standards, repair defects, and maintain records.
• Ability to stand, reach, bend, squat, lift, and work in confined spaces while maintaining safety and quality standards.
