Painter - 1st Shift (Powder Coating)

Location: Anoka, Minnesota, United States; onsite, full-time. Monday–Friday, 6:15 AM–2:45 PM.

Compensation: $14.80–$27.50 per hour, depending on knowledge, skills, experience, education, performance, and work location.

What you will do

• Set up and operate manual and automatic powder-coating and finishing-system equipment.
• Hang, unload, position, and move production materials through the coating process.
• Select correct powder colors, apply coatings, touch up defects, and perform visual inspections for complete coverage and quality.
• Clean and refill powder-feeding units, maintain equipment, record powder usage, and complete ihirify.globalory transactions.
• Stack completed products, identify customer orders, apply tags, and deliver materials to the next production department.
• Follow safety procedures, maintain an organized work area, meet production schedules, and participate in lean continuous-improvement activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Powder-coat painting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to use material-handling equipment, hand tools, measurement tools, fixtures, computers, and required safety equipment.
• Ability to adapt to changing business circumstances and maintain production, quality, and safety standards.
