Electrician (Industrial Refrigeration)

Location: Lyndhurst, Virginia, USA. Onsite shop role on a first-shift schedule, Monday through Friday, with alternating Saturdays. No travel required.

Salary: $30–40 per hour

What you will do

• Run and bend conduit, install wiring, and connect switches, panels, breakers, transformers, and terminations.
• Install, maintain, test, evaluate, and repair electrical systems, including automation systems and motor control circuits.
• Troubleshoot wiring layouts, circuit routing, PLC sensors, and electrical problems on refrigeration equipment.
• Read and maintain mechanical and electrical engineering drawings and schematics.
• Operate forklifts and scissor lifts when required and assist with general construction duties.
• Use electrical testing equipment safely and accurately.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of industrial electrical experience; 5+ years are listed for the position.
• Journeyman credentials are preferred.
• Experience running and bending rigid conduit up to at least 4 inches.
• Knowledge of three-phase motors, the National Electrical Code, and strong mechanical skills.
• Experience with 480V AC motor control circuits and PLC installation and troubleshooting is preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment and regular drug testing and be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying environmental conditions.
