Manufacturing Maintenance Electrician

Location: Cudahy, Wisconsin, USA. Onsite, 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Salary: USD 26–41 per hour, with additional pay potentially available based on experience.

What you will do

• Install, modify, repair, maintain, test, and troubleshoot electrical lines, circuits, controls, fixtures, and equipment.
• Install and repair electrical and electronic components in machinery, conveyors, bindery equipment, and other production systems.
• Connect power supply wiring, cables, programmable controllers, and machine equipment according to electrical codes and technical specifications.
• Diagnose malfunctioning transformers, motors, lighting fixtures, and electrical components using test equipment.
• Repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components and reproduce parts using welders or machine tools when required.
• Perform all work safely in accordance with OSHA and LOTO standards.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of construction, installation, operation, and troubleshooting of sophisticated circuitry and controls.
• Ability to formulate electrical circuit layouts, wire test setups, install strain gauge circuits, and verify electrical test conditions.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex safety interlocks and warning systems and respond quickly to equipment hazards.
• Skill with hand tools, power tools, electrical test equipment, and precision measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of electronic components including resistors, capacitors, and transistors.
• Applicable licenses or certifications required to perform the work.
