Electrical Industrial Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

Salary: $32.00–$35.00 per hour

What you will do

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and install production, food-processing, distribution, and facility equipment.
• Repair electrical devices, mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, refrigeration, HVAC systems, boilers, water heaters, and water distribution systems.
• Install, program, and troubleshoot automated machinery and programmable logic controllers.
• Perform preventive maintenance, update maintenance logs, and report major equipment issues.
• Maintain building structures and complete general office and facility repairs.
• Monitor safety, EPA, OSHA, and other government requirements; manage corrective actions and follow-up.

Requirements

• High school diploma, technical school training, 3–4 years of related experience, or a licensed journeyman skilled-trade background.
• Experience with refrigeration, electrical systems, controls, mechanical systems, and basic maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints, mechanical and electrical schematics, technical instructions, and diagrams.
• Basic computer skills for word processing and spreadsheets.
• Ability to diagnose problems, draw conclusions, communicate technical information, and work safely under equipment-failure conditions.
• Availability for the scheduled shift: midnight to 11:00 a.m., Sunday through Wednesday.
