Maintenance Technician - Industrial (Electro-Mechanical) - Night Shift

Location: Newark, Delaware, USA; onsite night-shift role. The schedule is 7:30 PM–6:00 AM, with required weekend shutdown maintenance, rotating 12-hour shifts, call-in, overtime, and occasional holiday work.

Salary: $35.00–$40.00 per hour, plus a $1.25-per-hour shift differential. Overtime, call-in, and standby pay may also apply.

What you will do

• Provide maintenance support for production machinery, computer systems, facility equipment, and a 24/7 manufacturing operation.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, network, computer hardware, software, and industrial control issues.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance, inspect equipment, complete work orders, and document maintenance activities.
• Support production technicians through troubleshooting assistance, equipment setup guidance, training, and coaching.
• Manage maintenance parts and inventory, coordinate with supervisors and vendors, and help determine equipment shutdowns and repair schedules.
• Maintain clean work areas and follow applicable safety and housekeeping requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or technical certification is preferred.
• 3–5 years of related electromechanical experience with high-speed automated industrial machinery.
• Hands-on knowledge of industrial mechanical and electrical machines, systems, controls, related I/O, and computer hardware and software.
• Ability to diagnose equipment faults, perform Level A, B, and C preventive maintenance, and read schematics and blueprints.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and working proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, internet, inventory, manufacturing, and order-processing software.
• Ability to work independently on nights and weekends and follow a rotating 12-hour schedule with call-in and overtime duties.
