Professional Engineer, Mechanical - Industrial Process Piping & HVAC

Location: Seattle, Washington; hybrid workplace. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Salary: $117,000–$159,000 per year, excluding overtime, bonuses, and ESOP contributions.

What you will do

• Design industrial mechanical and building systems for fueling facilities, loading and unloading systems, maintenance facilities, tank farms, pump houses, and railyard operations.
• Develop plans, studies, and detailed designs for piping, HVAC, plumbing, and industrial processes.
• Create process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, equipment layouts, and construction documents.
• Support construction administration by interpreting plans, observing operations, and verifying compliance with specifications.
• Work with clients and multidisciplinary internal teams to define scope, manage budgets and schedules, and maintain quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Washington.
• 8+ years of experience designing building or industrial processing mechanical systems.
• Professional experience with piping, HVAC, plumbing, and industrial process systems.
• Strong understanding of construction documents, specifications, and industry standards.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and project scope, budget, and schedule management skills.
