AI Software Engineer (Azure AI)

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and enhance business applications with intelligent cloud services and Generative AI features.
• Build and optimize AI models, Azure AI resources, foundation model endpoints, prompt flows, and LLM workflows.
• Design and tune production-grade RAG pipelines covering document ingestion, semantic chunking, embeddings, vector indexing, and hybrid retrieval.
• Develop semi-autonomous Agentic AI workflows with tool integration, robust error handling, and latency management.
• Integrate Azure AI and LLM capabilities with Angular front-ends and Java/Spring Boot back-ends, including secure data transit and state management.
• Perform analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment activities in collaboration with stakeholders and other departments.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry or Azure AI Studio, including hubs, foundation model deployment, prompt flows, and vector search.
• Production full-stack development experience with Java and Angular or similar technologies.
• Strong skills in Java, Python, Spring/Spring Boot, web services, SQL, TypeScript, HTML, CSS/Sass, and Bootstrap.
• Experience with RAG and Agentic AI patterns, vector stores such as Azure AI Search or pgvector, and LLM evaluation practices.
• Experience with automated CI/CD and integration pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Maven, or Gradle; familiarity with Agile/Scrum and SDLC practices.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Experience with Databricks.
• Knowledge of multi-turn agent frameworks or semantic orchestration patterns.
