What you will do

• Define product architecture including service boundaries, data models, API contracts, and runtime design.
• Design and build core systems for agent orchestration, knowledge bases, RAG, and multi-cloud execution.
• Own the developer-facing surface, including the creation of fast and reliable APIs and SDKs.
• Lead technical execution by setting engineering standards and running design reviews.
• Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar across the Cloud AI team.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in software development.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with fault-tolerant, scalable cloud architectures on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong server-side engineering skills in Node.js, Python, Java, Go, or Rust.
• Experience building production-grade RESTful APIs and microservices with SQL/NoSQL stores.
• Proven track record of designing distributed systems and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud security fundamentals, including OAuth, SSO, and encryption.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI agent systems, LLM-powered products, or RAG implementations.
• Familiarity with agentic design patterns, tool-use protocols, and context management.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Background in enterprise infrastructure, cloud data services, or storage systems.
• Experience building a new product end-to-end within a large organization.
