CNC/PLC Production Engineer (3rd Shift)

Location: Ava, Missouri, USA; onsite, 3rd shift

What you will do

• Own metal-cutting CNC equipment, work holding, tooling, and programming.
• Create and maintain scroll machining process documentation.
• Provide frontline technical support across multiple plant processes.
• Develop and implement process improvements and cost reductions.
• Comprehend and modify CNC, PLC, and robotic programs.
• Lead or participate in cost-reduction teams and capital planning, with focus on safety, quality, downtime, staffing, and throughput.

Requirements

• Four-year technical degree plus one year of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and manufacturing-related technical experience; co-op, internship, or an associate degree with equivalent experience may be considered.
• Experience with Allen Bradley software, Fanuc robotics, CNC machining equipment, CNC controls, and advanced troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, presentation, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Practical proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• Technical support experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Advanced CNC/PLC programming experience.
• Experience with Lean Principles and 5S+1.
