Automation Technician - 3rd Shift (PLC/Robotics)

Location: Anoka, Minnesota, United States; onsite, full-time, 3rd shift

Compensation: $23.90–$44.40 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain, repair, and improve automated manufacturing lines and robotics equipment.
• Maintain electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic assemblies.
• Support the design, implementation, and integration of automated production and assembly lines.
• Collaborate with Automation Engineers on capital planning, equipment acquisition, implementation, and validation.
• Document mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment alterations and additions.
• Work with maintenance personnel to build the skills needed to maintain factory equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience, plus 2 years of engineering or technical experience in manufacturing, or a preferred two-year technical college degree.
• Proficiency reading mechanical drawings and electrical schematics, including redlining schematics.
• Experience wiring electrical control panels, equipment actuators, and inputs and outputs.
• Experience plumbing pneumatic or hydraulic lines.
• Experience onboarding and validating new equipment before production-floor introduction.
• Ability to diagnose and fix machine faults and minor issues involving PLC/HMI equipment and industrial robotics.
