Airport Services Manager - Phoenix International Airport

Location: Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, Phoenix, Arizona, United States. Full-time onsite role with on-call availability and occasional evening and weekend work.

Annual salary: $115,000–$130,000 based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit.

What you will do

• Lead daily operations and maintenance for baggage handling systems, passenger boarding bridges, and airport facilities.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, work orders, workforce planning, and emergency response.
• Coordinate with airport authorities, airlines, TSA, and customers as the primary site contact.
• Drive safety, compliance, accountability, continuous improvement, equipment uptime, and contract performance.
• Oversee reporting, invoicing, staffing, performance management, and resource utilization.
• Mentor, train, and support supervisors and technicians to improve engagement and operational results.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least five years of supervisory or managerial experience in airport operations or maintenance.
• Ability to obtain required TSA and airport security clearance.
• Ability to work on an active airport ramp, around aircraft, moving machinery, baggage conveyor systems, and in confined spaces.
• Ability to work on-call and during occasional evenings and weekends, including ladder work and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of maintenance operations, safety compliance, communication, organization, and team leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience in operations, facility maintenance, administration, finance, or safety.
• Experience in a large airport hub environment.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, airport safety standards, and maintenance best practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, project management tools, and CMMS.
