Airport Services - Maintenance Team Leader (Airport Maintenance)

Location: DFW Airport, Dallas Fort Worth, Texas, United States; full-time onsite role

Salary: $28–$33 per hour

What you will do

• Oversee and participate in daily airport maintenance operations, including scheduling, work orders, safety, and materials coordination.
• Provide hands-on guidance, support, and on-the-job training to maintenance team members.
• Coordinate new employee safety training and conduct quality-control inspections.
• Support operational managers in monitoring and improving team and operational performance.
• Develop and maintain processes and documentation to improve operational efficiency.
• Build effective working relationships that support team performance and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to obtain required security clearance.
• Availability for on-call work, including occasional evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work rotational shifts; the regular schedule is 10:00 PM–6:30 AM, Sunday–Thursday.
• At least 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience, including HVAC, plumbing, or general maintenance technician work.
• Ability to work outdoors on an active airport ramp, near aircraft, moving machinery, vehicles, and baggage conveyor systems, including ladder work and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or GED.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of airport maintenance services experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
