Senior Structural Engineer/PM (Bridge)

Location: Dallas, Texas; work from the Dallas, TX office

Compensation: $130,962.60–$149,671.54 per year

What you will do

• Manage bridge design and rehabilitation projects.
• Lead bridge design tasks and perform structural analysis, design, and inspection of bridges and related structures.
• Develop project budgets, schedules, delivery plans, and technical proposals with managers, engineers, and discipline leads.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate structural staff on transportation projects.
• Support project delivery, quality assurance, health and safety, and financial performance.
• Build client relationships, support business development, and participate in professional society meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering; a master’s degree is preferred but not required.
• At least 10 years of progressive structural engineering design experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas.
• Strong project management, coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with structural analysis, bridge design, and related disciplines such as drainage and roadway engineering.
• Experience with TxDOT and municipal bridge projects in Texas.

• Design-Build experience.
• Interest in career advancement and leadership within a growing transportation engineering district.
