Director Human Resources

Location: Spokane Valley, Washington, United States; regular presence at the employment site during scheduled business hours is required.

Salary: $97,558–$202,620 annually, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Partner with practice leadership on workforce planning, organizational development, business growth, and data-driven HR strategies.
• Advise leaders on employee relations, conflict resolution, policy interpretation, resource utilization, and change management.
• Lead employee engagement, recognition and rewards, talent reviews, performance management, leadership development, and succession planning programs.
• Manage complex employee relations matters and support positive employee-employer relationships.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, monitor legislative changes, and advise on risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with corporate Centers of Excellence and regional HR leadership on enterprise initiatives and practice priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• At least 10 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including at least 3 years of leadership and people management experience.
• Expertise in employee relations, organizational development, talent management, performance management, workforce planning, and employment law.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to influence and collaborate across organizational levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and leadership skills; professional HR certification is preferred.
