Technical Accounting Senior Manager, CFO Advisory - Financial Services

Salary: $224,720–$327,850 per year

What you will do

• Advise financial services, digital asset, and fintech clients on complex technical accounting matters, including financial instruments, derivatives, securitizations, and digital assets.
• Lead engagements covering accounting policy development, restatements, audit readiness, and financial statement preparation.
• Apply US GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory frameworks across consolidation, revenue recognition, leases, business combinations, credit losses, impairments, and share-based payments.
• Supervise, mentor, develop, and train junior team members while actively contributing to project delivery.
• Manage client relationships and communicate with CFOs, controllers, executives, investors, lenders, and other senior stakeholders.
• Support business development, recruiting, profitability management, risk management, and expansion of advisory services.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in a large accounting firm, audit, or financial advisory services within the financial services industry.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience, including mentoring and counseling associates.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• CPA certification required; CFA or other relevant certifications are advantageous.
• Deep expertise in US GAAP and/or IFRS, advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, and experience with complex quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Strong communication, organizational, leadership, presentation, and client management skills, with the ability to work autonomously under tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
