Senior Consultant, Accounting and Finance Advisory Services (Finance)

Location: New York City, New York, USA; hybrid work environment required. Travel of approximately 25% is expected.

Salary: $86,660–$164,300 annually.

What you will do

• Participate in finance performance improvement, business analytics and decision support, financial accounting advisory, transaction support, and program or project management engagements.
• Work hands-on with project teams to analyze financial reporting processes and improve finance operations.
• Collaborate with managers and partners on client and engagement management.
• Communicate with business owners, executive management, investors, lenders, and other sophisticated stakeholders.
• Strengthen client relationships through high-quality advisory services.
• Support professional development and recruiting activities, including campus recruiting and employee referrals.

Requirements

• Two or more years of experience in a large accounting firm, audit, or financial advisory services.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Intermediate financial modeling and Excel skills, including complex quantitative and qualitative financial analysis.
• Knowledge of accounting and finance concepts and tools used for analysis and data-driven insights.
• Strong organizational, communication, multitasking, teamwork, and autonomous working skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and travel approximately 25%.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Exposure to QuickBooks, NetSuite, Intacct, or similar middle-market financial applications, including workflows, automated controls, consolidation, reporting, and analytics.
