Manager, CFO Advisory - Financial Services

Location: New York City, New York, United States; full-time office location

Salary: $124,910–$236,800 annually

What you will do

• Deliver US GAAP advisory, financial accounting advisory, transaction support, business analytics, and finance transformation projects for financial services clients.
• Improve financial reporting processes, controllership operations, and finance-function performance.
• Lead project work, supervise and develop staff, and collaborate with senior managers and partners on engagement management.
• Communicate with business owners, executives, investors, lenders, and other senior stakeholders.
• Strengthen client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and expand advisory services.
• Support recruiting, mentoring, professional development, profitability management, and risk management.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a large accounting firm, audit, or financial advisory services within the financial services industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Current knowledge and practical application of US GAAP and/or IFRS advisory requirements.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, including complex quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Experience with accounting and finance tools and middle-market applications such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Intacct.
• Excellent communication, organization, multitasking, client-interaction, and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• CPA or CMA certification.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
