TL;DR

Salary: $91,976.90–$105,116.46 per year

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain program and master schedules for construction projects, defining relationships, logic, milestones, constraints, codes, layouts, and reports.
  • Review contractor baseline, recovery, and progress schedules for scope coverage, sequencing, critical path, resource loading, cost loading, and contract conformance.
  • Perform schedule quality assurance and quality control, critical path analysis, earned value analysis, and time impact analysis for change orders.
  • Assess scope and contract terms to determine whether requested time extensions are compensable and negotiate delay settlements with contractors and project representatives.
  • Monitor construction progress through site walks and schedule updates, prepare reports, and communicate status and concerns in project meetings.
  • Act as a liaison between project teams, department leadership, and the Program & Project Controls department.

Requirements

  • At least five years of full-time professional experience in construction scheduling for an owner or general contractor.
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management; alternatively, a bachelor’s degree in another field plus two additional years of construction scheduling experience.
  • Proficiency with the latest version of Primavera and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of cost engineering, scheduling, and schedule forensics theories, principles, and practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, planning, and relationship-building skills.
