Project Controls Scheduler (Solar/EPC)

Location: Remote - CA; fully remote within the U.S. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future. Travel to regional jobsites is required.

Salary: $91,520.00 - $114,400.00 per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain integrated EPC project schedules in Primavera P6 using realistic execution plans and CPM best practices.
• Analyze project documents, drawings, contracts, specifications, quantities, weather data, and other inputs to establish accurate activities and durations.
• Update schedules at least twice monthly, incorporate actuals, monitor critical-path deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform schedule analysis for delays, weather impacts, what-if conditions, change orders, and claims.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, project management, field teams, owners, and third-party consultants through project meetings and schedule reviews.
• Prepare as-built schedules, maintain P6 databases and reporting files, train field personnel, and visit jobsites as needed.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 3 years of project engineering or related experience, including construction scheduling for high-voltage, substations, or other electrical features.
• Experience using Primavera P6 and applying Critical Path Method principles in construction projects.
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications, with knowledge of construction methods and processes.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and ability to travel to jobsites.
