Senior Software Developer (.NET)

Location: Parsippany or Jersey City, New Jersey, United States; primarily in-office

Salary: $86,000–$106,000 annually, plus eligibility for a bonus

What you will do

• Design, code, test, document, and implement complex changes across applications supporting the Western World and Lexington businesses.
• Develop and support integrations with other platforms for end-to-end business processing.
• Review code and guide development teams on coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project leaders, DBA teams, infrastructure, IAM, and operations to define scope, estimate work, and plan delivery.
• Provide end-user support, maintenance, vulnerability management, service improvement planning, and platform stability support.
• Coordinate software development resources and contribute to IT planning, SOX, and IT control activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• 4+ years of software development experience within the insurance industry.
• Technical proficiency in .NET, SQL Server, SSIS, JavaScript, HTML, C#, Angular, and TypeScript.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools, cloud platforms, frameworks, and API development.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly, influence change, understand complex systems, and work effectively with stakeholders.
• Customer focus, attention to detail, and experience building robust, scalable, and maintainable applications.
